2001 Chevy Blazer

Car dies randomly. Battery has been checked and is still good. Car works sometimes after being jumped. What type of problem am I looking at?

Has the check engine light or alt light ever come on? Are the battery terminals clean and tight?

The battery terminals look clean & were recently just tightened down after taking the battery out to test it. The weird thing is - is that after checking the battery (after it died on the street) we placed it back in the vehicle & it started right up with out needing another jump. I also have not seen the engine light come on. I feel very confused.
