If it's got a/c you have to have the charge recycled then you have to pull the dash and finally the heater core.

Take it back and have them check to see if all the actuators are working, bet they aren't. Probably forgot to hook it up or not all the way so it won't work.

I have a very strong antifreeze smell inside my vehicle my windows are getting a wierd film on the inside the smell is making me sick with headaches.I have no noticable leaks from theoutside as was told to check pass. Side inside the cab for leaks as well none found. Where is this smell coming from and why is it sooo strong? Possible heater core? And how do I know if its going out?

I hear under acceleration (not all the time) water (fluid) sounds inside the passenger compartment. I made an appt. Today, they said it could be a couple of things but then said the heater core & how expensive that is. Could you explain what is a heater core & why it could cost $1,000 to repair?
I see nothing wet inside the compartment, & nothing on the ground under the S-10 Blazer 4-Dr.

What you are likely hearing is actually a common thing with an S Blazer. If you don't find any wet areas inside the vehicle or smell coolant it probably isn't a bad heater core. What you are hearing is air trapped inside the cooling system. The easy repair is called burping the system.
You can do this yourself easily. Park your vehicle so that the right front is as high as possible. (I use a convenient bank on the lawn!) Now with the engine cool open the radiator cap. Top the coolant up and start the engine. Watch the coolant level and it should drop a bit when the thermostat opens. Once that happens top it up again. Then put the cap on. Now top up the coolant reservoir as well. Drive around some and let the engine cool again. Repeat the burping and you should be all set.

Electrical problem 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 18800 miles

The other day my turn signals stopped working the hazard light still work but when I use my turn signal there is nothing the outside or the ones on the dash don't work I went and bought a book and everyone says change the flasher relay I can't find it I know I don't have a combo for the turn and hazards I replaced that and still nothing I looked under the dash and on the fuse box nothing there for the flasher does anyone know where it is please help.

I looked there it is not there I have been told about four different places I can't find it anywhere.

Is the hazard flasher is under the steering wheel and the turn signal flasher can't be found anywhere if you have any other ideas please help

Cherokee Sport 4.0 4x4 I had some people say it might be behind the glove box or in the steering column

Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, under dash, mounted in upper left corner of fuse panel. For future reference, the turn signal flasher and hazard units are usually located under the dash either to the left or right of the steering column on most models.

Use this guide

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

Here are some diagrams of the fuse box and location along with the wiring diagrams for the system.

Okay my sources all point to the same place for the 6 cylinder Sport so I don't know why it wouldn't be there. It is possible that its on a relay block behind the glove compartment.

Please let us know what happens so it will help others.

Cheers,

I am running into the same issue. All information says the flashers are on the fuse block, just as illustrated above, but they are not. There is a location for them, but the connector cavities are empty.

Found another relay block with a square black Bosch unit that looks like a relay or a flasher. One wiring diagram I found online says thiis is a "dual flasher", but, the same diagram says it should have four wires, connecting to it, and it has five. There is a light gray wire that I can't identify.

Any information you can provide would be greatly apprecitated.
Thanks,
John

I have the same problem. Hazards work, but no turn signals.

Found the same secondary relay block under the steering column that John speaks of. This is where my hazard flasher is found. Coming off of it, is a thinner flasher-looking part. Looks like a silver cannister with three blades. When my turn signal first started to malfunction, this cannister was very hot to the touch. Since my turn signals have quit altogether, this part stays cool.

It has no numbers or identification on it. No car part strores around me can identify it. My guess is it a dealer only part, but with no part numbers on it, am I wasting time trying to find a dealer that will have it.

UPDATE: The local Jeep dealer tells me that the smaller flasher looking device is not a flasher, but auto-headlight-shutoff timer.
The '95 uses a Dual flasher, blue in my case, that is on the secondary relay block that John described above.
My problem appears to be where the number 8 fuse plugs into the fuse panel. Half of the fuse receptacle appears burned out.
Anyone know how to disconnect the fuse panel from the connector at the bulkhead?

I have a blue flasher and a red one. I replaced the blue one but the signal lights still don't work. Is the red one for signals and the blue one hazzards?
