My blazer will turn over with no problem. Everything works on it as in lights radio all that. So it's not the battery. But it only does this sometimes. The times when it won't start the fuel pump will not kick on. But when it starts it's obviously fine. I've been told that if the fuel pump goes out it just goes out without warning. And when it starts after it won't start for a day or so I smell gas really strong. We have tried the fuel pump relay. But really can't think of what it could be. Hoping its not the fuel pump.

I'd have to use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostore used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. There is a redundant power supply to the pump, besides the relay, the engine has to be cranking. I can't hear the pump, engine cranking, use a gage. Also, when the problem occurs, visually check for spark at the plugs.

Ya I found a tester and it showed no pressure. So I'm assuming the fuel filter is a safe bet. Hopefully.
Thanks
