I have a 97 Chevy Blazer 4wd w/4.3litre and the mileage is at 169000. I have had the truck for a short while and don't really know any history of this truck. The problem I am having is a vibration when I am accelerating. You can feel it more when speed is around 55mph or more. When driving at higher speeds the vibration goes away when I take my foot of the accelerator. There is probably a list of things that it could be, but where should I start?

That could be ALOT of things. I would start at the drivetrain, Bent rim, wheel balance, tire pressure, tire coindition, differential, now the motor, Diagnose the igntion system could be a bad plug, plug wire, cap, rotor, coil or timing. Fuel pressure, harmonic balancer, crank pulley, tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Good luck.

Lionsfan112000. Have you had any luck troubleshooting this problem.I have the same vechicle. With approx the same milage. And also the same problem. It vibrates at around 80-90 km/h for a little while. When I cruise up at 100-110km/h. All the vibration goes away. Also. When it vibrates. If I let off on the gas. It goes away. It only vibrates under power. Sounds very similar to your problem. I am suspecting the transmission. But I would really like to know how you have made out at your end.
Thanks
