Trans Leak

Ok I have a 96 Chevy blazer and I seen it leaking trans fluid and I went to look for the leak and it looks like it is coming from the dipstick area on to the exhaust. It shifts hard from first to second but after that it will shift fine. I need help please.

There is an O-ring around the dipstick. You need to remove the dipstick replace the O-ring and make sure the fluid is up to full when WARM. The hardest part will be getting the bolt out that holds the dipstick in. You may lose some fluid when you pull it out, so have a pan under the trans.
