Where is the (evap purge solenoid) located on this model? I am reading a (PO 440) code and not having any luck keeping code away. As he told me, the parts man at autozone, I have changed oxygen sensor and fuel cap. Tired of putting on parts with no luck ! Need some better advice ! THANKS

Not purge valve. 95 percent of the time a code 440 is caused by a bad vent solenoid. Its located at rear of truck by the canister. The vent solenoid is open to road debris and it usually sticks open causing a leak in the system. I find that if someone tells you to replace a gas cap for this code then they usually dont know what they are doing. Hope this helps

Yes on the blazer, right next to canister. Get the part from the dealer, it costs about 40 bucks
