My blazer has been having an issue with a very rough idle at a stop, when driving at any speed other than 0 it runs like a champ. Another issue is a VERY strong gas smell. First time it popped an oxygen sensor code so that was replaced and didnt help, scanned again and my mechanic came to the conclusion that all of the issues it picked up (ox. Sensor hitting RICH, misfire on C#1) came back to a bad "Spider" I ordered the part and am having it put it, but is this the right desision? And the spark plugs and wires and brand new we already went over that.

Also check and clean EGR
injector known for a leaky regulator
and you should be able to physically see it if it is leaking

Hi I would have to agree with your mech if plug and wire and compression are alright in that cyl. Then about the only thing left is the poppet valve, spider]
OR FUEL INJECTION CONTROL MODULE. GOOD LUCK BILLYMAC
