Ok this thing has a new encoder, vacuum on transfercase, tccm and now the 4 wheel stopped working. It is push button, and everything is working like it should, driveshaft spinning to the front diff, but no spinning of wheels! Vacuum actuator on front diff or worse>? Please help me.

I share your feeling.I have one too. Sounds like the vacuum actuator, have replaced more than one of them. Be sure it is getting good vacuum signal to lock the front diff. If so then the actuator is most likely bad. You should be able to manually move the diaphram and hear the front ry to engage, of course not while it is running.

Where the heck is the thing and how do I replace it? Do you have a vacuum schematic or a picture or directions? Please help too much snow with kids in the car. Thanks a bunch

Pretty sure it is under the battery. Follow the cable that hooks to the front axle, it will lead you to it. Be sure it has good vacuum before you replace it, may be a vacuum problem
