This morning before work I noticed a noise coming from my engine that sounded like rattling, or like a belt was about to snap. I stupidly thought nothing of it, and it got progressively worse. As I was driving home tonight, the power steering suddenly blew, my battery light came on, the lights dimmed, and the temperature spiked, yet the noise had completey stopped. I drove the 2 miles or so home, but when I pulled into the driveway and shut my car off, I could hear a boiling sound coming from under the hood. Any idea what this could be?

With the loss of all accessory rives, you have broken the serpentine drive belt. The noise may well be a pulley bearing failed and the overheating is because the water pump is in-op. You will need to have the belt replaced and checked for noise(faulty bearing) and hopefully you have done no damage to the engine.
