Welcome to the forum, check for injector pulse, engine cranking. I just wanted to add, if the computer doesn't see an rpm signal, it won't pulse the injector. With engine cranking, the purple wire with white tracer carries the rpm signal from ignition module to computer. Engine cranking, there should be a pulse on that wire?

Use a noid lite, the autostore sells them. I have used a dmm that had a tach setting-- duty cycle-- dwell, any of those will react to a dc pulse. If you just try to look at voltage, the dmm may average it. You won't see a pulse.

Are there any codes? Right now, I still think it is fuel related, somehow? I've been wrong before.
