ABS light on

My blazer recently had a transmission put in it and now the anti-lock light is on and it will not shift. If I unplug from the transmission will that make it shift or would you suggest something else?

To the best of my knowledge, the ABS and transmission are not tied together. Have you had the computer scanned to determine why the light is on? Most parts stores will do it for free.
