I have a 95 Blazer we hit a dear a few weeks ago and it busted the grille and passenger headlight. The headlight bracket was pushed back and ended up pinching a bundle of wires that run behind the headlight. How we found this out was the other night it was rain really hard. The blazer was parked and off Than the horn started blaring we ran outside and saw smoke coming from under the hood we poped the hood and saw that the bundle of wires was sparking and starting to melt and burn we disconnected the battery and it stopped. The next day we checked it out and cut the melted part of the wires and reconnected them one at a time the truck started right up no promblem. Everythign powered just fine than today I went to the store and noticed the abs light came on but the brakes didnt seem any differnt I did my shopping and went home truck still seemed fine. A few hours later I went to leave again and the truck almost started but than died and now it just cranks but doesnt spark. Fuel pump kicks on and everything I.E. Windows/locks/lights/dash all power up

Get a starting fluid/ether/better off gas in a spray bottle and spray into the carb or the throttle body on an EFI. Did it start and die? If not disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 in away from ground have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor /distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, ECM, Ignitor camshaft and crankshaft sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
