1994 Chevy Blazer Motor stalls

When I press down the accelerator farther than half way it stalls or dies. Help?

Suspect fuel pump
need to check fuel pressure
check it for a tune up and check coil too

My fuel pump makes a noise like it is straining to work. I bought it new about 6 mos. Ago it was doing it then. But I haven't driven it that often. Thank you. I plan on installing a new fuel pump tomorrow to see if that is it.

Do a fuel pressure test
pump can be running put no pressure or volume
