Motor cutting out and sputtering

I just changed the fuel filter and seemed to help out with the motor cutting out / sputtering. Still cutting out Took her out for a test drive today and the car ran perfect for about 15 minutes and then the oil pressure dropped by 50% and the motor started cutting out again. I returned home and found that I had used 2 qts of oil 20W-50 in the last 2 test drives.

You have more than 1 issue. I would have the actual fuel pressure checked to verify the pump is functioning.
The oil pressure issue is something you need to get checked. Look for leaks or burning.
