Electrical problem
1988 Chevy Blazer V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I rebuilt my motor and after reinstalling I am not getting power to the fuel system. I put in a new pump but am not getting power. I changed the control module inside the distributor and have checked all connections.

With the engine cranking, do you have spark at the plugs?

When you turn the key on, no crank, does the fuel pump run? If it doesn't you might run B+ to the prime connector, see if the pump will run, you don't need to use the key, when using the prime connector.

With the key on, is there voltage at the injector plug? Is there a pulse on the injector ground wire, with the engine cranking?

You talked about the injectors and fuel pump, you don't have B+ to either one?

The battery isolator was bad, I connected the alternator lead directly to the battery lead and now everything is working. Thanks for the help.
