The driver's side front power window has completely stopped working. It does not go up or down. All other windows work fine. Do I need a new motor/regulator?

Hi:
Chances are the motor is bad, but that is an easy check. Remove the door panel and check to see if the motor is getting 12 volts. If it is, replace the motor.

Here are two guides to help us.

My driver's side window stopped working on my 97 Blazer. It's stuck in the down position. I know I probably need a new motor or regulator, but I was wondering if there's anyway I can manually pull the window up instead of leaving it down for the time being. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I had same thing, I used to pull up at the same time as I hit the button, usally it would take a few times between the circuit breaker blowing to get the window up.
If the breaker keeps blowing then you have no choice but to replace the motor. You cannot pull the window up with the motor in place and not running.

I found that fuse block layout, not sure how accurate. That circuit may not go hot, unless the key is on.

I don't have wiring info on the window motor itself.
