Ok so I dont really know a thing about cars or engines, but I have this 1990 beretta, 1142796 miles, with a 2.0 size engine. (I hope I got that right because as I told you I know nothing about engines)
So there are a few problems with my beretta. But the main problem is, is we have a leak of radiator fluid but we cant find any cables that carry the fluid. I know im dumb but where are all the cables that come from the radiator fluid.
thankyou

Congratulations! You now know something about your car. IT does have a 2.0 motor. See now you can feel much better that your facing your fears!

Anyways, the coolant can be leaking from various places. The "cables" are actually "hoses".

Make sure the coolant is full first. Is there any particular area the your seeing where the coolant is coming from in a general sense? A digital camera may help us help you in finding this leak.

Haha oh right Cables thats what I ment lol. Ok so anyways I know where the leak is comeing from, its comeing from the firewall. Its this little knob that comes out of the fire wall it but it doesnt have any hose that leads to it and its leaking the radiator fluid. I think I know where the heater hose is but, it doesnt make sense because its just this random little "knob" thats leaking out radiator fluid from the firewall. Do I need to just cap it off? Or is there some hose that could have come off? Because that is for sure where its comeing from. Or is the hose hidding from me? And where could I find it or what should I be looking for.

Any chance of taking a picture and posting it?

Typically, this is the heater core area.

I know this is an old question, but, I have the same problem. If you are standing in front of the car, looking at the firewall, it is a flanged hose connector sticking out of the wall, just to the left of the 2 A/C lines. I believe they are called the discharge and suction line assembly.
At any rate, there is nothing connected to this hose connector and coolant is leaking from it. I can find no info online or in the repair manual pertaining to this.
A side note. There is only one line going from the surge tank to the radiator, just under the cap. There is a straight opening in the bottom of the tank. Like a plastic funnel end. Which sits in an open hole in the chassis. I am assuming it is for overflow, but, could it possibly be that there should be a hose going from it to my mystery connection in the firewall?
