2003 Chevy Avalanche ENGINE STALLING

Hello.

My '03 avalanche stalls when the steering wheel is cranked all the way to one direction. Also, it frequently "putters" while idling. Any suggestions? It has recently been tuned up and has a new battery. Thanks for any help.

The steering if turned all the way will put extra drain on the engine. However, the engine miss is something that may be contributing to the engine dieing. Has the check engine light ever come on? Also, have you checked (in general) for vacuum leaks?
