1995 Chevy Astro gas problem

If you puyt gas in carb it will run but when you try to push on the gas it dies and will not start unless you put more gas directly into carb. But the fuel pump is working and the fuel filter is new. Please tell other issues that may cause this to happen

If you have the cmfi fuel system, there are bulletins about cleaning the fuel poppets.

I know you said the pump runs, but, I can't rule out a fuel pressure issue. Can you check fuel pressure? It does sound like a fuel issue.

If your still obd 1, 12 pin data link connector, check for codes.
