I took my kids to school and the van died I tried starting it wouldn't start after it sat for a while it started seems like it is flooding

Might be the coil. Just had this problem. Would start fine then after driving and stopping it wouldn't start. Let it sit and it would start right up. Also replaced the HEI at the distributor. Starts fine now.
