Stutters and feels like it is about to stall and the Check engine light on

If the Check Engine light is on, you need to take it to a place (such as Auto Zone or some parts store) to have them scan the computer. The light is on because there is a Diagnostic Trouble code stored in the computer. This code will lead you in a direction of the problem. Most of these parts stores will scan the car for free. Write the code number down and Let us know what the code is and we can help you from there.
