Check engine light always on flashes randomly

So my check engine light stays on all the time but sometimes while driving it will start to flash. The car will start chugging and the A/C will even start blowing out warm air. This only lasts for less than a minute in the light will stop flashing in the car goes back to normal.

Hello,

When the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or "check engine" light is illuminated that means that a Direct Trouble Code (DTC)(s) have been set. When the MIL starts flashing this indicates that a Type A, or a catalyst damaging event is taking place. This is a serious DTC that needs to dealt with immediately or serious engine/transmission damage can occur. Can you please pull the DTC(s) for me.
