Check engine, (!) and VSC warning lights

To narrow down the issue use scan tool and read the fault codes and report back.

p0A82 code came up.

The fault code p0A82 is related to hybrid battery pack cooling fan1.
Difference between estimated battery temperature based on blower fan cooling performance and actual temperature is excessive this faults appear.
System is located inside rear trunk.
Check the ducts and the blower listed below for disconnection and damage ,also check if they have not clogged up with foreign substances.(check fig1)
quarter vent duct.
quarter vent duct 2.
quarter vent duct inner 2
ventilator inner duct.
battery blower assembly.
send feed back we are interested to know what happens.
if all the above are in good condition then battery electronic control unit defected.(fig2)

I have cleaned the air intakes and the fan. I have also replaced the 12 volt battery. I still have the same code P0A80. I have had this vehicle for about three years and had some of the battery modules replaced about two years ago and recently had some others replaced. I'm not sure at this point what the problem is.

When you replace the battery packs did you go new or rebuilt? If rebuilt they could need replacement again. Some re-builders take used packs and clean and test them to sell.

I can’t say for sure if the first ones replaced were new or rebuilt. However the ones I had done recently were new. I guess the best thing to do would be to have it tested again.

Yes, even new batteries can have bad cells which requires replacement. I have heard of people test the pack to see which cell is bad but that is dangerous so I don't recommend it. Please let us know after the test.
