Could be a number of things. Recharge the battery, check all the wires to see if they are corroded and making good contact. When you use a jumper does the car turn over at all? If not start at the battery connections and work checking the wires to the starter.

I got a 1995 honda civic lx and the problem I got is the car dont start. I turn the key to crank the engine and everything work fine but when I release the key it shut down. I installed this kind of alarm that let me start the car from inside my house with the remote control and works fine. The problem is starting the car with the key. Please help me.

This is a problem with the remote starter install. Either you (or whoever installed it) installed it improperly or there is a faulty component. If you are doing this yourself, try removing the whole unit and make sure there are no loose wires left over. After everything is removed safely and properly, try and start it with your key.

My 1995 Civic DX won't start. It has been sitting for about 3 1/2 months without being started. Before it sat for so long, I had not problems with it. The battery is good and the motor will not turn over. Is this a possible starter issue?

You might have a weak connection somewhere.

Put a voltmeter on the battery, what is it reading? Now Put the positive lead on the main power wire on the starter (with the 12mm nut) you should have about the same voltage. (Minimum of 12.1V) If that checks out, remove the solenoid wire (the male terminal with the black boot) put the positive lead on it and get someone to crank the vehicle. You should receive voltage while the vehicle is being cranked.

Let me know what you find.
