After swapping out the engine I have a code for the transmission speed sensor and the car will not stay running. It drove great for the first few test drives but now I get a p0715 circuit code. I just replaced this solenoid with a Napa one and I did have to rewire the connector after rats invaded. I guess I need a wiring diagram for the engine/transmission back to the PCM. the manual is useless and so far, I can't locate anything online. I did replace the engine with one that had a manual transmission attached originally but I don't see that being the problem.

It is concerning that you have rat damage because that normally is not just in one spot. So, I think the only thing we can do is run through the testing for this code and find out what the issues are. I suspect you will find a wiring issue but the best thing to do is follow the codes that you have because it is telling you where the issue is, we just have to find it.

Here is a guide that will help with this testing:

Below is the testing. It is a bit lengthy so let me know if you run into issues with it.

Thanks
