Hi,

Here is a guide that will get us started.

We need to find out if you have power to the starter or not. This guide explains how to do this. It is the portion that talks about the trigger wire and using a test light. I also included a guide on how to use a test light in cause you are not familiar.

Unfortunately, this is not just as simple as replacing a single component because it is the only cause. There are numerous causes for this so we need to start limiting it down. It could be the ignition switch but again, we need to see where we have power and where we don't so we can limit it down. Let me know if you have questions or what you find and we can go from there. Thanks

I had a guy come on and check the car. He said the fuel pump might be broken. The thing is that I felt the car losing power though.

Okay. If he is saying the fuel pump is the issue, that means the engine turns over but does not start? This is what we call a crank no start. If this is the case, it very well could be a fuel pump. He should be able to simply hook a pressure gauge to it and see if the pump is building pressure.

If it is, then we could have a fuel delivery issue but more than likely the pump is okay. Let me know if he checked the pressure and we can go from there. Thanks
