I replaced the transmission filter and fluid on my wife's car. Got it all back together, filled it with fluid and the car won't move. It will Rev between 1,500 and 2,000 RPMs and bounce back and forth. Occasionally the car will start creeping but barely. I've done transmission filters in the past and never had this issue. I used the right filter; I used the right fluid. It worked fine before I did the filter and fluid.

I know you say you got the correct fluid, but the wrong fluid causes this problem so let's double check. Also, if the filter is not installed correctly it can cause the same effect.

Transmission Fluid

Type .................... Genuine Nissan CVT fluid NS-2*

*Using Automatic Transmission fluid other than Genuine Nissan CVT fluid NS-2 will cause deterioration in drivability and CVT Transmission durability, and may damage the CVT Transmission, which is not covered by the NISSAN new vehicle limited warranty

When you say filter do you mean the external filter? If so, did you remove the filter caps before installation? Please let us know what happens. If nothing works let's run the codes.
