My Sunfire has been garaged for eight years of never starting it, there was no battery in it. Now I need to put it back on the road. I installed a brand new battery and all power is there, but the engine will not start. I tried to jump the battery, still nothing.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs it not could be your fuel filter or the fuel pump-start there.
