Car starts then shuts off

Okay it had some issues and it was given to me and it seemed like it would just be the fuel filter, but fuel filters new. I turn the ignition it starts for a few seconds then shuts off. If you touch the gas it sounds like it chokes out and shuts off. I am not much of a mechanic but pretty good at fixing things. I need some help.

Try a security system reset. then if it continues scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge see links.
