I have to turn my key twice to start my car. It doesn’t happen all the time. I took it to a shop and it wouldn’t do it while they had it so they told me they didn’t know what it was. There is no noise when I turn the key so I don’t think it’s my starter.

The starter motor is the no1 item when this happens, I would confirm it when the starter is not making the noise see if there is voltage at the trigger wire when the key is in the crank position, you may have a bad connection at the battery, please go over this video we made especially for this problem.
