Car stalling while driving

Car stalls and loses power when driving. Oil/battery light come on. Car sits for a few minutes. Starts up again. Replaced alternator per mechanic yesterday. Ran great. Today started and stalled out a few minutes from home. Battery light came on. Oil flickered then off. Tried a few times, then started. Went to shop, need to recheck it. Think it maybe the main relay switch? Is this correct?

Those car had a huge problem with the ignition distributor, please remove the cap and check for rust colored dust which is an indication the distributor is going bad, please get back to us with that you find.
