The engine runs rough no acceleration?

Car starts fine, it idles rough as if it's going to shut off out on you, it has no acceleration and for some reason I think it's a fuel filter

Yep, the fuel filter is the first stop on this type of problem. here are two guides to help us get started and I have included how to change the fuel filter out in your car in the images below:
