Car radio does not produce sound?

The radio powers up but produces no sound. The speakers were checked out and working properly, but no sound from the speakers.

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is an OEM system or if you have something different. If it is OEM, some had a power amp built into the system. See the schematic below.

Power to the amp is provided by fuse 12 in the smart junction box under the right side of the dash. If you have this system, that is where I would start.

When you check the fuse, confirm there is power to and from it as well.
