My car overheats sometimes when starts to get hot it will start to cool off by itself. I can see the thermostat gauge go up a little higher. Recently my fans stopped coming on by them selves without the air conditioner on so I was changing the thermostat temperature sensor and I believe I cracked the housing that it that you screwed into and I was wondering is there any way to fix that without having to replace my whole intake?

The temperature sensor is in the thermostat housing not the intake. Check items in pictue as it may be a relay or fuse and not sensor. These are in the under hood fuse box and marked on inner top.
