Car not starting after driving for 5 minutes

Car starts normally in the morning, or after a long time stay. But after driving for some minutes, if I stop the car it does not start but cranks. Some times it luckily starts after 30 min, one hour or 2, so I used to put the car on the road side and do my work by walking and after some hours car starts. Becoz it starts after sometime its not a spark plug prob. It some times starts after several attemps, but battry would loose it charge

lot of smoke comes from exhaust.

If the smoke is black its burning oil. I am giving you a diagnostic walk through with a link below. Just click to get to it. It will walk you through the steps to diagnose your problem. If it is white smoke and smells sweet like anti freeze you have a blown head gasket and you should get it fixed soon or the car will get coolant in the oil and damage the engine or overheat.
