What year model is compatible with my car's ECU computer? Do I have to get it reprogrammed?

According to http://car-part.com, 1996-1997 is what you need. You will have to figure out if your car is a California Emissions car, or a Federal emissions car. I think that information should be in the driver's door jamb, or possibly on the sticker under the hood. You will also have to match up the sub-model (DX, EX, etc). So far as I can tell, you do not need to have it programmed, it should be a plug-and-play computer.
