When I put my foot on acceleration pedal it accelerates very slowly only to 20 mph and that with foot flat to the floor. It seems when the car is fully warmed up that's when the problem starts. Going over speed bumps and stop start traffic can also cause it to lose power. Recently I have been having performance issues. Now today the engine light has come on and car is shaking any ideas?

I had the spark plugs changed and new ignition coil. As the car was misfiring.. That was solved. But the car is still sluggish when the engine reaches fully warmed up.

Could it be a cooling problem? As only loses power when engine fully warmed.
