Engine Performance problem
1998 Vauxhall Corsa 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

driving along in fifth gear there was a lack of power and the yellow warning light came on then went of and power was back this happend twice and also pulling away in first sometimes there seeems to be a slugish performance with power but then sometimes its ok any ideas?

The yellow warning light is advising of an electrical fault in the system. The only way to find out where the fault lies is to have the car plugged into vauxhalls diagnostic equipment or equivalent. There are numerous sensors etc. On the vehicle which could be causing these symptoms. !
