So back in November I was drunk I was trying to do a donut in a FWD by pulling the e-brake and revving my car in neutral and shifting it into drive back in forth like that (yes, I know that was a dumb idea).

so now I changed the thermostat and soon i'm going to replace my head gasket and water pump.

When i'm driving it blows warm air but when I stop the car blows only cold air and seem like it's heats up after driving for a while but I went to Chicago before and back and it didn't overheat. So right now I am confused and want to get your opinion.

So just to clarify, your engine is overheating or you are just not getting heat unless you are moving?

If it is just a heat issue then that sounds like you either have a blend door issue, heater core issues, or low coolant.

So depending on what you have, we need to pressure test the cooling system and make sure it holds pressure. If it does then we don't have an leaks and possibly that includes the head gasket but we should confirm that.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

Let's run through this and go from there. Thanks
