Car has not run in almost a year

I have a 94 Olds Cutlass Supreme convertible that has not been run in 6 to nine months, I got rid of the old gas and changed the spark plugs and oil and filter. What else do I need to do before I try to start it?

You've did enough to start the engine. After it starts, run it for a while (20 minutes) then turn it off and check hoses, radiator, etc. For water leaks. Also check belts and look for oil leaks etc.
Take it on short drives (10 - 20 minutes) to get a general idea of its' condition.
