Loss of engine power

When I'm driving the car has lack of power only goes about 20 MPH, I thought it might be the clutch but have been told if it was the clutch car won't move.

It sounds like the vehicle is in limp / low power mode.

One of the common reasons for low power / limp mode is a dirty throttle actuator.

Is the check engine light illuminated? Typically, with this type of issues the light gets triggered.
If it is on, then scanning for codes can help with the diagnostics.
