Car cranks but won't start.

My 1998 Cavalier 5 speed z24 won't start. It was running one day and out of nowhere it acted like it had no gas. Put gas in it no start. Decided to buy brand new fuel pump and fuel filter. Put it in and still cranks but no start. I tried using starting fluid and well no luck. It tried but didn't stay. What else should I do?

Try the basic tests. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gauge and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check for fuel injector pulse. Can you check applicable trouble codes?
How long since a tune-up?
Make sure battery has a full charge.

Battery is on a charger so it has constant power. Okay I will try this when I get home in an hour and get back to you.
