Welcome to 2CarPros.
It could be fuel related or other things. What I need you to do first is check for diagnostic trouble codes. This is an OBD 1 system and doesn't require a scanner to retrieve codes. Here is a link which shows how to get codes from this system. The only thing you need is the key.
See if you find any codes and let me know what they are.
Here is a link that explains how to check fuel pressure:
Here is the fuel pressure specifications:
1992 Plymouth Sundance Duster V6-181 2972cc 3.0L SOHC VIN 3 FI
Pressure, Vacuum and Temperature
Vehicle Powertrain Management Fuel Delivery and Air Induction Fuel Pump Fuel Pressure Specifications Pressure, Vacuum and Temperature
PRESSURE, VACUUM AND TEMPERATURE
Fuel Pressure* .................... 331 14 kPa (48 2 psi)
*Ignition key ON, engine OFF. Using DRB scan tool, access ASD Fuel System Test. The ASD Fuel System Test will activate the fuel pump and pressurize the system.
Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
