Hi, I'm putting the vehicle listed above back together which I didn't disassemble. The two camshaft sprockets were removed, my question is, which way do they go back on, both sprockets are identical, and each sprocket can go back on camshaft 2 ways with pin on cam being able to go in slot 180 degrees either way so, should both cams have line up pin at top or bottom. I've seen hundreds of pics, and nothing is specific on this which could ruin an engine if its 180 out on either cam.

Hi,

The sprockets should be identified with either an I or an E. If you are facing the front of the engine, the I (intake) is on your left and the E (exhaust) is on your right. See pic below.

Now, I'm not sure how they can go on 180 degrees off. There should only be one way they can mount.

Let me know. If you can, take a couple of pics of what you are referring to and upload them for me to see.

Take care,

Joe
