I turn the key and the lights all go on the dash but the car won't turnover. Nothing, not even a clicking sound.
The problem is on occasion only, not every time I try to start the car.
I have a brand new battery because I had a dead cell in my old one, which I thought was causing the problem.
What do you think?
Thank you for your forthcoming answer!

It is possible the ignition switch is failing, it could also be a starter. At the front of the rear bnk cylinder head there is a connector thet has a large purple wire. If you have a test light, disconnect and check for start signal on the harness side. If it lights and the car still dont crank, it is a faulty starter.
