Recently got a 2000 Dts, had to replace driver side wheel bearing so I know this new noise is NOT a wheel bearing. So from what sounds like the passenger side is a noise that can best be described as a woomp woomp woomp sound but it is not constant. It will do it a few times, stop, do it a few times, stop, etc. It sort of sounds like something rubbing but I could be wrong. I have looked and do not see anything that would be rubbing as I'm driving. Do you have any ideas that might be helpful?

I'll need more information to give you an accurate answer.

Do you feel vibration when the noise occurs? Does the noise increase with speed? Does it happen when you brake? Does the car pull to one side?

This could be as simple as a not in the tire or a bent rim. If you get back with me, maybe we can narrow it down
