2001 Cadillac Deville the back lift

When I first bought the car, the back would lift up when I would start the car. It doesn't do that anymore, what's the cause

It depends on height sensor changes, and may not be seeing a need. Does the profile of the vehicle appear correct, i.E. Not low/high in the rear end. You can function test it be loading the trunk with the key off, turning on and checking for a cycle.
