1999 Cadillac Deville Starting the car

When I try to start my car in the mornings it won't catch unless I hold the ignition until it does or I crank it twice. This also happens when I stop for a few hours. But if I start and stop within minutes it will crank right up. What is the cause of this problem?

It could be caused by a few things. The most common would deal with the fuel pump loosing its prime. If the problem continues to worsen, I recommend having the fuel pump pressure checked.
