Sometimes when I try to start my car it tells me to remove the key and wait 3 minutes sometimes it tells me security system problems car may not restart but it always does

Could be an indication of a faulty key, or failing ignition lock cylinder. Try a second key, and see if the problem persists. A large percentage of the time, it's the wires that relay the key resistance value to the vats module, breaking at the cylinder.
