1998 Cadillac Deville V8 Automatic 135000 miles

Iput a motor in my deville. When I let off the gas car dies like you have turned the key off. Have had several people look at it including the dealership of which they say they believe it to be the wiring harness. At wits end with a car that I have invested more money in than the cars value. Any advice would be greatly appricated ty

Was there any changes made with the replacement motor, or does it match your application. Why does the dealer go after the wiring harness?

We have changed idle air sensor cam sensor. They told me the harness was croded but we think or know that its liquid glass that was put into previous motor. My mechanic adjusted the idle today and it seems to be better than b4. It was dying every every time you let of the gas. Everyone says to junk the car im already over 6k into it, Besides I love my car. Thank you for getting back to me.
